Mrs. Kimberly James joined the staff of St. Barbara Elementary School in Brookfield, Illinois in 2003 as the fourth grade teacher.

Prior to joining St. Barbara, Mrs. James taught at various primary grade levels at a Catholic school on Chicago's Southwest Side.

Mrs. James lives with her husband, Marc, and shih-tzu, Emmett in the Southwest Suburbs.
